[OOC] Profile
Name: Bigby Wolf
Alias: The Big Bad Wolf
Age: Thousands of years old, exact age unknown
Species: Half wolf, half wind spirit
Powers: Ability to shapeshift between man, wolf, and partway in between, though his clothes do not transform with him. In wolf form, he can blow with enough force to clear an entire city street or knock down a forest, and the local winds will obey his wishes for a short time. Near-immortality, fast healing, lack of aging, enhanced senses (especially smell and hearing). He also exhibits strength beyond the normal limits of a regular human being. He would have access to other wind powers like shapeshifting and flight, but he refused to learn as a cub out of hatred for his father, and still refuses to rectify that gap in his training.
Appearance: When in human shape, Bigby takes the form of a medium-frame forty-ish year old man with brown eyes and mussed brown hair, and perpetual stubble that grows back in hours if shaved off. His usual wardrobe consists of dark slacks, a white button-down shirt, a loosely tied black tie, and black wingtip shoes, although his outfit constantly looks as though he's slept in it for several nights, which would often be the case if he got sleep regularly.
In manwolf form, Bigby's entire body is covered in dark fur, his beard grows out, and his eyes turn yellow (or red, if he's exceptionally angry). His ears become pointed and his teeth become fangs, while his fingernails and toenails are replaced by sharp claws. This form is significantly taller and bulkier than his human form.
In wolf form, Bigby takes the shape of an enormous black and gray wolf, comparable in size to a large truck. Aside from his size, he appears to be an ordinary wolf with no other distinguishing features. Until he talks, anyway.
Personality: Bigby is often gruff, though he has surprising patience and a desire to see his people safe. It doesn't bother him that people still don't trust him after what he's done, even though it was all pre-amnesty, since he knows they have good reason to be scared. He's sharp and observant, and often pursues his own line of investigation without telling anyone else what he's up to, even when he knows that he's correct. He's mostly professional at his job, not wanting to complicate his working relationship with Snow White because of his feelings for her, although he is also known to pull some sneaky underhanded moves to spend time with her.
He chain-smokes to dull his senses to the city around him, because otherwise all the myriad scents would drive him mad. He uses alcohol, usually whiskey, as a way to help keep himself in human form when provoked too far, although he can't actually get drunk. Bigby is an unrepentant carnivore, eating only meat whenever he does eat. He lives a very spartan lifestyle, taking up residence in the smallest apartment in the Woodlands building, and sleeps in his only chair as he does not own a bed. He has never learned how to drive a car and must either walk everywhere or take a cab. He is afraid of heights, saying that wolves are meant to live on the ground, though he has no problem facing that fear if the situation calls for it. He's never used a gun, preferring to rely on his wolf abilities instead. Though he usually walks around in human form, he does not think of himself as one in any way.
